ANGELIC INDEX FOR THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE

Angels appear everywhere in the bible. You just have to look for them. In my bible, The Student Bible by Zondervan Publishing House, has an index in the back (which is soooo helpful let me tell you), and I rooted around for Angel sitings in the Good Book. Here are places YOU can read about them! I hope you can find them and read all about these fine beings from Heaven!

My Personal Expirience

It happend about three years ago. My friend, a majorette, and her boyfriend gave me a ride home from a late football game. (I was in the band too, so I had on my uniform as well). It was snowy, cold, and icy out. Yuck. I lived abut fifteen minutes away, so it was no big deal to drop me off. Well, coming up the final hill to my house we ran out of gas! Quickly her boyfriend and I jumped out to push while she steered. Her boyfriend, a trumpet player, was not the strongest person in the world and myself being petite didn't help much. We were sliding backwards and cars were lining up behind us. The road we were aiming for was twenty feet uphill from the car. All of a sudden a black man coming from the other direction pulled over in a flash (almost as though he knew we needed help and was there), jumped out of his car, and pushed the car to safety. I remeber he was very strong and wore cowboy boots! I also remember thinking how, if he was wearing cowboy boots, why didn't he slip like the rest of us in tennis shoes? Well, we got the car to safty, and when I turned to thank him, he and his car were GONE!

It was a reacurring dream. I was floating in air right above a field with two forests to either side of me. I could look down, left, right, up, and forward. I couldn't however land or go back. I really didn't want to because I knew that if I did, something REALLY bad would happen to me. After about six months of dreaming this endless flight, I came to the end. Jesus welcomed me with open arms saying that he loved me very much. It was weird in a way because in his perspective it looked like I was mearly on a table top. Only from his chest upward was visible. And he was HUGE! When I saw him in all his glory, I just flew (literally) into him for a hug. It was the most wonderful dream I have ever had.

Shines on your face

Glittering skin

Seems out of place.

Here on this night,

Nothing as bright,

Why have you come

Beautiful sight?

Is it my time,

To leave behind,

Life on this Earth,

And conscious mind?

"Still time to play,"

You're here for she

Who's birth is today.

"Honour her life,

One with much strife,

Future will show,

She'll make a wife."

"Queen of the land,

She'll give her hand,

Until I return,

Then I'll demand."

"She come retreat,

Next to His seat,

Glorious praise,
